Shear Capacity Analysis of Steel Reinforced Lightweight Concrete Elements Based on The Bond Strength

Push-out tests of steel reinforced lightweight concrete(SRLC) were carried out for nine specimens which designed according to the orthogonal test method considering four influence factors including strength aggregate concrete, stirrup ratio, thickness protective layer and anchorage length. The curves average bond stress loading-end slip drawn, characteristics split failure push-out analyzed, characteristic was obtained. Combined with results other scholars on ultimate concrete(SRC), it is found that SRLC not worse than normal concrete(NC) can be taken same as 0.5MPa. Then obtained used calculate shear elements may occur two forms failure-diagonal failure, however, ignored in some specifications. Shear capacity computational formula deduced into introduced.To verify reasonability accuracy proposed approach, pattern are predicted by means previous also compared provisions. analyses calculations indicate accurately predict mode calculated values better agreement experimental results.
